Durovis' enhanced online shop, based on Magento, offers a unique customer experience and has been integrated into the system landscape.

Together with Durovis, Arcmedia has developed an online shop that is integrated into the system landscape and offers a unique shopping experience. The customer is still at the centre of attention and can have his individual wishes fulfilled thanks to the spring configurators and numerous CAD models.

The Durovis online shop covers all customer needs with the industry's largest range of different springs and plastic parts. One highlight of the online shop is the spring configurator, which can be used to configure and order customised, technical springs. By providing CAD models from the partner "Solidcomponents", users receive comprehensive support for their projects, resulting in a holistic and unique online shopping experience.

Technology

We relied on Magento 2 for the realisation of the project, a state-of-the-art, PHP-based e-commerce platform that enables seamless integration. For example, an iFrame from Solidcomponents is integrated into the online shop, which provides important product information and thus ensures an efficient and user-friendly shopping experience.

Challenge

Due to the lack of documentation for the ERP connection, the biggest challenge in this project was the transfer. Thanks to the good cooperation with Durovis, this problem was solved and the new connection was documented in detail.

Success

The highlight of the project is the extensive Magento update, which includes security patches and enables smooth communication between the online shop and ERP. In addition, the cookie and consent management was successfully revised together with Arcmedia.
